Options on Vet Colours

I have had an idea using a few bitz to put together a vanguard vet squad

 

Now I already have a Finecast Vanguard Vet squad thats currently in the case at our local GW. These are ultramarines in the bog standard blue / white helmets scheme.

 

I want to try and do something with a Sanguinary guard set.

 

What Im thinking is

 

Sanguinary guard body

Sanguinary guard jump packs without the wings

Various bolters / swords / axe's etc

Standard helmets with resin plumes

 

I think the important thing here are the helmets so Im thinking blue bodies with gold trim then red helmets and white plume.

 

Im open to ideas here so what do you think....

 

Painting them gold isnt an option :P
