SoulTang
Hey guys .. the bases were making are a bit bigger in Diameter than the standard GW bases ... do you guys see that as a good thing? maybe this question is in the wrong place .... :P Any input would be awesome. My thought was that most of the models don't really have room on the GW bases .... at least for a wide stance. henrywalker
modelling wise i'd agree with you but the issue is that it can change gameplay, for example a template weapon hits you if any part of it goes over your base. if the bases are bigger then more people might get hit. also for measuring ranges and other things it can be an unfair advantage. if your talking 1 or 2 mm it might be fine. the GW bases have a sloping edge, if yours were straighter it would give more area on top. a lot of scenic bases have something like a lump of rock on top which sticks out over the edges. as long as the bottom is a 28mm or 40mm circle then it should be fine (there are other sizes too of course) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246547-hey-have-a-question-for-you-guys/#findComment-2984281 Share on other sites
