badger_baiter
Greetings! I start by apologizing, my search-fu is weak on here. Basically, have decided to equip one of my two dreads with a twin-linked autocannon. Can the FW autocannons be fitted to the standard plastic dread? Im planning on using the FW Space Wolf Ven. dread with a plasma cannon and DCCW and have a normal dread with the autocannon. Any feedback would be great. Rune_Priest_Rhapsody
The FW Autocannons do indeed fit onto both the regular and Venerable Dreadnought kits. You can also use these for a somewhat cheaper kit bash ----> http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...odId=prod20006a End of Line Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246692-dread-autocannon/#findComment-2986045 Share on other sites
vanguardwolf
jep those are great i used them aswell. also the 2 tl autocannon dread is a nasty one, just hide it in a builing and blast away Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246692-dread-autocannon/#findComment-2986056 Share on other sites
badger_baiter
Sweet cheers for that guys. Wouldn't want to get the bits then find they don't fit. Don't reckon I'll go for the rifleman dread, the DCCW will remain just to provide some balance. I guess that applies to the Mk V weapons as well? Grey Mage
I shaved the Lascannons off my spare arm and put on a pair of autocannons I got from one of my IG playing friends, then I put the drums on the back to hide the batteries. Works pretty well IMHO. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246692-dread-autocannon/#findComment-2986285 Share on other sites

Ramza
Hey guys, I recently made a Rifleman dread using spare IG autocannons using this guide http://mikedthreeb.blogspot.com.au/2010/07...ought-arms.html The instructions are easy to follow and have lots of pictures for reference. Hope it helps. -Kyo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246692-dread-autocannon/#findComment-2986420 Share on other sites
Ethzor
Yay first post for me!!! On topic, I just made the poor-mans-version of a TL Autocannon Dread, took the spare pieces of my ven dred kit and built another shoulder and mounted a Lascannon on it, then took the ammo pack from the TDA assaultcannon and glued it to the side of it and did the same to the regular dread lascannon. I think it looks good, will see if I can get some pic of it later today. Ethzor out! Russ Brother 92
I have a ironclad that i need to make codex legal and i have 2 spare IG auto cannons, i think i know what to do with it now. tis the one thing that irritates me - vanilla marines get Ironclads, BA and GK get stormravens - then no-one else gets either :/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246692-dread-autocannon/#findComment-2988565 Share on other sites
Brother Benedictus
I'm going to pick some of these up in the near future http://www.shapeways.com/model/414990/ from other pictures I've found they seem really rough...probably cause of how they are made...but I bet some watered down liquid greenstuff will fix that right up Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246692-dread-autocannon/#findComment-2988771 Share on other sites
