badger_baiter
Quick question. I'm thinking of building my next pack of Grey Hunters as a more "senior" pack, by which I mean adding in some bionics and some older patterns of armour. Would armour types such as the Mk V Heresy armour be available to Grey Hunters in 40k? hendrik
in effect i see no problem, you could mix the armour marks throughout multiple units to show campaign replacements using only what suits they have left in their armoury? badger_baiter
Cool thanks. Was thinking of giving one of them a mk v helmet, sprinkle some bionics amongst them. And of course plenty of extra pouches and blades. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246795-old-armour/#findComment-2987554 Share on other sites
Forté
They're your minis at the end of the day. Older items are usually more valued too and if you mix parts you'll have more variety. Max_Dammit
armer gets mixed and replaced where needed, you get a suit and where it, maintain it till it gets damaged and you get a new or you die and someone else gets it, There is proof of patch jobs in the Spacewolf box, just look at the legs, there is one with 2 different era legs. GalaxyChief
This would be encouraged amongst our beloved Wolves. Older wargear is held to great honor as it was worn by the forfathers and has served the warriors of the fang in the past. I do not show this so much in my Grey Hunters, but my WG, LF and Wolf Scouts all have "older" wargear.
