Look at my BA

Hey guys!

So I started with BA about a year ago, mainly because they've got all them angelic wings and shiny gems and golden ornaments everywhere ;) My painting improved quite a bit during that year, so now I'd like to post some pictures of my newest miniatures here, so you can help me improve some more.

I also just realized that I'm terrible at taking pictures, therefore I apologize for the occasional blurriness :P I'll try to make some better pictures later (if you want to see them, that is :))

First of all, thanks very much for your kind words and the warm welcome :)

Are they Flesh Tearers or a home made chapter?

I oriented myself on the Flesh Tearers colours, but but in some more red and gold - so it's homemade by now I guess.

Dude how did you get that red?

Basecoat Black -> Mechrite Red -> 2-3 thin Layers of Red Gore does the trick. Then wash liberally with Devlan Mud and highlight with a mixture of White/Blood Red. Gives them quite a dark and older look, which I preferred over the bright "standard" BAs.
