I first painted them when the models were originally released, just like the Tyranid Hunters. I painted these guys up for the stores display case and while pretty good for 7 years ago I thought I could improve them a bit. I didn't take before and after pictures again, but I've only updated one of the models so far, so you can compare the two. I fixed his face, the metals, gold and the red. Added crisper highlights to the black and the cape and decided to add a glow effect on the the lantern he has. I did this because once I redo the second guy his lightning claws are going to have a glow effect.
