And yes I'm aware but in contradiction to that point, he is part of the Reclusiary, and and such only show's his markings to the chapter and what company he is attached too! Looks great! I am basing this army around the third company before the death of Kotan Kadai (from the tome of fire trilogy: Salamander) I have quite the forge world pieces coming for all of my Sergeants and Captain Kadai of course, Also I plan to take them all and add plai-card spacers in between the legs to make them more taller and imposing then your normal marines (because of their well-known bulkiness). My reasoning for not doing such work to Elysius above is due to his posing as he already jumping creating the effect that he is already much larger than he already need be. And the cover just screamed Tsu'gan! So I went ahead and began work on my first tactical squad: Tsu'gan. Needless to say here is some very, very early WIP pictures of him. I not to long ago I cut up a Sicarius model so if that's a metal model I can understand why wouldn't want to add spacers. I like Tsu'gan's second pose a lot & his squad looks to have a lot of character. They just scream 'decoy diorama.' Whenever you get them painted up you should borrow a friend's model & have it looking towards the waving Marine while Tsu'gan points from cover & have the flamer Marine sneaking up from behind. A few questions: How are you going to model Iagon? If I remember correctly, he was lanky for a Marine. Just a suggestion. If you can get a hold of an old metal Marine (3rd ed?), they're noticeably thinner. Second, do you know what weapon will you give Kadai? His thunderhammer or twin bladed sword? I want every model in the army to have some character. and yeah I want this army to also have a display board, so I can take it to games day this year! As for Iagon I'm really not sure how I'll do it, I know I'm going sculpt his face from where he took the melta shot and has no control of the right side of his face, as for body I'm thinking of makeing him standing more at attention.
