Olis
It's a little later than promised but here's some of my henchmen models. Obviously they're in various states of progress, some painted, some not. These models are intended for use in Dark Heresy rather than in any 40k army. Here's a redemptionist made from an empire flagellant, BA DC hand flamers and other small bits. Here's a crusader type of henchman based upon a Bretonian, also with various added gubbins. This is a conversion from another model (can't remember which range it's from) which is intended as a leader type for a mercenary gang (made from Heresy Miniature gangers that look remarkably like Delaques). Another leader type for the Mercenary gang, again I can't remember what range he's from (Infinity Nomad perhaps?). Essentially he's a very minor conversion as only his pistol has been modified (it was ridiculously easy). A second group of mercs made up of scout and cadian parts. More of the same group + a leader sporting an RTB01 power fist converted to point meaningfully. A small contingent Drookians made of Victoria Lamb's conversion kit and Cadian parts. From left to right: A stand-in Goliath ganger from another range I can't recall (spot the pattern here?), the limited edition inquisitor and a high ranking guard officer (possibly a general) from Trollforged Miniatures. Another view of the Goliath as he wasn't all too clear in the previous photo: A group of various acolytes, from left to right: A Greatcoat (Trollforged) + Krieg arms, a stand-in Escher (again Trollforged, this one is the resin version), a converted model from god knows where (I switched his head - the previous one had a very long pony tail - and converted his gun into a laspistol) and the last one is from a Judge Dredd range I got off of ebay. A clearer picture of he who has no home (unless someone can identify him for me): Aaand there we go. Roughly 50% of the models intended for DH use. So, Henchman, do you have anything to share? :) Edit: I've found out where that Goliath is from - Madpuppet Miniatures. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247110-show-us-your-henchmen/#findComment-2999031 Share on other sites
Pr0fane
Olisredan; a few identifications for you. 1. The Mercenary whose pistol you swapped is from Dark Age Games; "Hoj, the Warlord" of the Outcast faction. 2. The Mercenary whose pony-tailed head you swapped out is also Dark Games. Called "Manhunter" and also from the Outcast faction. 3. The "Goliath" grabbing his crotch; he's from Mad Puppet Miniatures, simply identified as "Scavenger leader". Pr0fane
No problem. I admit, I was a little sad to see his head swapped out since I designed him that way. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247110-show-us-your-henchmen/#findComment-3036501 Share on other sites
Olis
No problem. I admit, I was a little sad to see his head swapped out since I designed him that way. ;) Really? If it means anything, I've kept the head for later. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247110-show-us-your-henchmen/#findComment-3036506 Share on other sites
Pr0fane
LOL That's awesome. Nice to see Dark Age minis being used, even if outside the Dark Age game.
