Pbenner
I am seriously thinking about ordering a FW Venerable Dreadnought. I am proficient with magnetizing and all that, so swappable arms is an option. I am probably going to buy (4) arms to go with him. Which four would you pick up? I am think Las Cannon, Missile Launcher, and a CC arm for each side. Anyone have opinions? Brother-Sergeant Bohemond
I would take an assault cannon instead of the second CCW. Thats my preference, though Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247218-forgeworld-mk-iv-venerable-dreadnaught/#findComment-2993027 Share on other sites

Droma
Auto-Cannons for each side plus assualt cannon or las cannon depending on preferences and a DCCW arm. I'm suggesting the auto-cannons for when our codex eventually gets updated or if you simply decide to use the rules from forgeworld. Candleshoes
I would suggest at least 1 set of dual ranged weapons (lascannons, heavy bolters or autocannons) seeing as how we just received the Mortis FAQ. They would also be a very safe bet, seeing as how in the little fluff burb, it says now that dual ranged weapons are only available to the Unforgiven and Dark Angels. If the 6th edition codexes follow suit, then it is something unique to DA. I myself just ordered dual contemptor autocannons and a rocket hat for this very reason and am very pleased that I did. Get the Plas cannon and a DCCW, along with dual autocannons, and a Las/ML combo. Since you're magnetizing, you'll want the most bang for your buck, per se. riddles
I second (third) plasma cannon/dccw and dual autocannons. autocannons because it's the most efficient fire support mortis and plasma cannon because a.) it's cool b.) we're dark angels c.) people don't see plasma cannons any more and they are still pretty potent and d.) because the FW plasma cannon makes me drool. it's gorgeous. @candleshoes: no kheres assault cannons makes me sad Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247218-forgeworld-mk-iv-venerable-dreadnaught/#findComment-2993220 Share on other sites
