UK Dawn of War II: Retribution March Tournament

Greetings!

 

It's been as far back as Mid December since we ran a Retribution event, so we thought we'd start some back up and invite our previously awesome communities back.

 

We'll be playing the following rule set

Date: 15th March

Expected start time of event: 7.00pm

Expected end time of event: 10.00pm

 

Event settings:

 

All games will be 1v1, played on a 2 player map to be announced on the night (I'm open to a general consensus of preferred map)

You may choose any race and commander for each game within the tournament.

 

Game mode:

 

Victory Point Control, 500 Tickets, Standard resources.

 

Structure (for 16 players):

 

Round 1 will have 16 players, with winners moving to Round 2.

This first round is planned to take place between 7 and 7.30pm, to allow for any delays in starting matches. If there are not 16 players, some players will receive byes into the next round.

Round 2 will have 8 players, with winners moving on to Round 3.

Round 3 will have 4 players, with the winners moving on to the final.

 

We'll be running one a month, more frequently if we get the numbers.
