eadipus
Hi there! This log is here to chronicle my Grey Knights going from half finished to tabletop standard. I've had a lot of these miniatures for years and some of then are recent acquisitions. The current goal is to get my current 1500 point list painted although I am prone to dalliances and some other GK stuff might get painted. One of my other aims is to have all of my vehicles look different with heraldry on the doors, I'm using a mixture of the FW brass etch, bits and greenstuff pressmould casts of other GK looking bits. I also have 2 LR's (one nearly finished, one magnetised but unassembled), a Storm Raven with extension kit which is still in its box and a few henchmen of various flavours. This stuff will be painted off and on. I'll try and keep this post edited with what's not bought/bought/started/completed.The list in question is: GM w/Psycannon and Grenades Purifiers w/2 Psycannons + Hammer in a Razorback Purifiers w/2 Psycannons + Hammer in a Razorback 10 Man Strike Squad with w/2 Psycannons in a Rhino Terminators w/Psycannon Purgation Squad w/2 Psycannons, 2 Incinerators in a Razorback Dreadnought w/TL-AC - don't have the AC arms yet but he is painted! Next up I was practising some power weapon painting for the Termies (and eventually the Strike Squads and Purifiers) http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7177/6886102143_fe8308a4f2_b.jpg I've followed a different tutorial for each sword, from left to right: Cool Mini or Not speed power weapons Gone to Ground - Halfway decent power weapons The Astronomicon guide to power weapons because I'm using Ork Choppa's that are left over from turning AOBR in to Blood Bowl/Necromunda the swords aren't ideal but I think the Astronomicon method is the one I'm going to go with. Need to dig out some more practice swords and pick up some ice blue (the 2nd last hightlight on these is Space Wolves Grey) and a decent detail brush The Termies are coming along nicely and have just had their first load of washes done, they need highlighting and the detail still needs a lot of work.
