Casperatis
My brother passed away just over a year ago. He was into Star Wars big time. Boba Fett to be specific. Here was his pride and joy, Boba Fett. He was so into Star Wars that he was already a company into a chapter of models. I will post the full army later. I just felt that I needed to show you all what he did and was capable of. http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/eed2ba8a.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/dd99e67c.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/9cdeaa04.jpg This is Boba Fett. I will post what he had done so far of his chapter, which is a full company. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247422-boba-fett/ Share on other sites
mysteriousmaskedmystery
Very sorry for your loss. That model is pretty wild, definitely something you would remember playing against. Would love to see more of the army. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247422-boba-fett/#findComment-2995872 Share on other sites
Casperatis
Here is most of the army. Missing 2 land raiders, about 20 marines, 10 jump marines, 8 rhinos, 5 terms, 2 preds, 2 dreads, and a Reaver Titan. All the models are "WIP". I think I am going to start to finish these models. I understand having this many ongoing projects because I have about the same amount work to do also. Well here are the pix for you guys. http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/b66d3d24.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/12ee6578.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/3adc4709.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/99692cac.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/d9946723.jpg http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/eb9dc39a.jpg This is a pic of a model he made in his likeness. As it is a side pic to let you see the freehand of the chapter symbol, you can see a cap on the models head( you can see it in some of the earlier pictures) Yes it is a Philly Eagles hat. http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww220/casperatis/893f4f52.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247422-boba-fett/#findComment-2995889 Share on other sites
Dark Apostle Thirst
Ok, I have to say I'm sorry for your brother dying too. That's some sweet free-handing right there, and any guy who can carry out an army to his whims is pretty awesome. That's a loss for the rest of us too :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247422-boba-fett/#findComment-2995903 Share on other sites

Casperatis
Thanks everyone. Basswave - he used the space marine codex. My brother got me into this game on Christmas 1991. He gave me his Eldar army at that time. This Eldar army was large enough to play apocalyptic battles with. His armies included, ultra marines, chaos, daemons, grey knights, sisters of battle, and Eldar. Included in this was 2 Reaver titans, and a Eldar revent Titan. With all that I have learned from him, I decided dark angels is the army for me, ever since I got the Angels of Death codex. Me and my brother joked about how between him and me, we put GW on the map. Well atleast back then. He got about a dozen people to play this game, of which I have kept in contact with half of them and they still play. I have got about 5 people into this game and they all play. My brother taught me that it does not matter what the model looks like just that he has all his gear(wysiwyg) and has atleast 3 colors in them. An nomatter what you think the rules are, (if the rules are not clear) just to remember the most important rule of Games Workshop. If it sounds too powerful, that must be the rule. Ie. The ork deff rolla. and back in the day wolves CML(some of you know what I mean) Well anyways I am going to be posting more models on here to see what people think of my painting. Have a good day brothers. Casperatis Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/247422-boba-fett/#findComment-2996038 Share on other sites
InquisitorHayn
Your brother, may he rest in peace, has done what many fans of both industries have always considered doing. Through his work and his family may he be remembered. Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la. ChaptermasterDemon7
Your Brother, may he rest in peace, has done a really great job with these models. I have only recently started Warhammer 40k, but I am a big StarWars fan and I love the Boba Fett model.
