I played 2 games with this list, the first was a kill point/annihilation game VS grey knights. he had some large bases to proxy his 3 dreadknights but it was otherwise WYSIWYG with 2 ven -las/autocannon dreads, crowe, 2 purifier squads, an interceptor squad and 2 razorbacks

As you can see in the following picture i deployed sparsly keeping my dread talon and brey'arth in reserve since he won the roll to go first. he place the warp shunt on one of his dread knights which i shot up a bit as he charged my left flank. he tore up the dread i had holding there but failed to kill it(love venerables) Breyarth came in on turn 2 and promptly smacked down the dreadknight.

The center/right side fo the table saw a lot of back and forth shooting which ended up in little more than us stunning each others vehicles quite alot until i finally ripped the assault cannon off his advancing razorback. with no guns he charged forward and got out hoping to do some damage from his paycannons.

he managed to immobilise an ironclad that had come in from the reserve dread talon but the other 2 ate up his squad and advanced on his razorback.

A big game changer for me was the fact he had his other 2 dreadknight set up for shooting and he never reallyadvanced them because he forgot they were MCs and got 2d6 armor pen.

He dropped in his interceptors hoping to finish off the nearly dead dread on my left flank, but he scattered a bit to close to breyarth who managed to double back on him and eat his squad over the course of 2 turns. i finally anaged to kill one of his venerable dreads but also lost an ironclad in return.

the game ended with a victory for me 5:1 in VP

i lost a single ironclad

his losses-

.dreadknight

.venerable dread

.razorback

.perifier squad

.interceptor squad

Game 2 was mostly proxy for my tau opponant so i didnt bother with pics

he ran a new hazard suit/broadside list with a pirahana squad and a hammerhead.

The game was spearhead with one objective in each deployment zone. frankly i was a bit concerned facing 5 railguns shas'o r'alahs double las cannon and his rending hazard suits. he did a bit of damage to my force taking out several dreads keeping me from advancing across the table. i got incredibly lucky considering how many times he failed to hit with railguns(the hammerhead hit one time in 6 turns) or hit and rolled low on his armor pen. we ended up fighting each other to a standstill-tie game. the only epic moment was when breyarth came in from reserve and ate an entire 5 unit piranha squadron with his flamers and his CC attacks.

Game 3 we went big 2500 points.

One of my other buddies is more of a FW whore than me and just got his airsupprot in he decided on using his 2 baracudas instead of his tigershark. hopping to come in from reserve and shoot my dreads in the back with ion cannon and missile pod love.

his list had devilfish, fire warriors, a stealt team, some tetras(great little things), a squadron of remorha stealth fighters, commander ra'alah, a broadside team. all WYSIWYG

This game ened up a little but worse off for the tau mostly because the baracuddas didn't come in until the end of turn 4

It was a 5 objective dawn of war game and i started on the 24" like with my dreads because he made me go first. he annoyed my dreads quite a bit and even managed to kill one by the end of the game but bad dice rolls and the fact most of my dreads were in CC by the time his flyers arrived made this an almost a one sided game.

I kept the helios in reserve hoping for his fights to show, i ended up deployng and moving onto an objective. i did finally hit his flyers a couple times with it but he made his disruption pod saves. one of the baracuddas got a little to close to my achillies and i managed to shoot it down with the multi-meltas off the achillies as it was trying to backshot a nerby venerable dread.

It was a simple pincer manuerver in the end. breyarth smashed the right flank taking out fire warriors and the broadsides while my ironclads made short work of his tetras and stealth team from the left. bottling him up in the center of the table.

The CC in the center with a single ironclad and his firewarriors lasted a full 6 rounds of CC because niether of us could hit the other and when i did hit the shield drone took it on the chin. it took a second ironclad jumping in to finsh the job.

In the end i lost a single dread to destruction and he was down to the baracudda and the lone remorah giving me 2 objectives without any way for him to contest more than one of mine(the baracudda cannot "hover" to contest).

>side note

In case your wondering, yes that is a a contemptor class dread i am using as breyarth as the actual breyarth model is festooned with salamanders icons and does not really fit the look of my army.
