Varren is wearing Mk6 greaves, Mk3 gauntlets, 1 Mk5 shoulder pad, 1 mk3 shoulderpad, a Mk7 Breastplate and a Mk3 Backpack by the looks of things.

The White Scar is in a full suit of Mk2.

And The Emperor's Child (well children sounds wrong when it's not plural ok :D) is wearing mostly Mk4 except with a Mk3 backpack and Mk7 greaves.

Extremely arrogant Custodes included.

Plays straight after Garro and Rubio's return to Terra after Oath of Moment, and deals with Rubio coming to terms with his new role.

Might be the highest quality audio drama we've heard so far.

That will be great if it is better than "Grey Angel". I really liked "Grey Angel"

Have you listened to this? Can you give us a list of characters? Spoilers?

Well, as you can expect from the cover, White Scars, World Eaters and Emperor's Children are in, and not just one of each.

I tried to keep the actual spoilers down, while giving a rough overview, but it might take away a bit of the fun to know that much before listening. Decide for yourself whether or not you're patient enough

The Custodian takes both Garro and Rubio on a mission, just after Rubio has accepted his new, grey power armor. He is set up in a way that you will most likely hate him. Stark contrast between Garro's sense of morality and the Custodian's dutiful and arrogant way of handling things.

Initially he won't reveal the mission details to Garro, despite the Sigillite having ordered Garro and Rubio to accompany him, and it takes Garro to kick the Custodian's butt in the training chambers after the C destroyed every single training servitor on the ship to finally get some information.

Somewhere around Pluto, a small fleet of fugitives arrived in the Sol system, including a group of survivors from Isstvan, World Eaters and Emperor's Children, who almost got stranded in the void before coming across the White Scars.

The Custodian doesn't trust anyone of the WE and EC and if he had his way, he'd simply fry them out of space, but he has a thing for the proud White Scars. Reference to the "Blood Games" short story from Tales of Heresy is made.

Varren was a friend of Garro, similar to Saul Tarvitz (who gets a short mention), so Garro and Rubio try their best to convince the Custodian of the fugitives' loyalty to the Emperor, while there's obviously a traitor among the new arrivals, which turns the situation into bomb ready to explode. The Knight Errants have to reveal the truth before it is too late.

It is a fantastic audio drama, 2 hours and 21 minutes, and perfectly paced. It really sets you on edge and draws you in. Toby Longworth is still doing Garro, and the narration, with the guy from Madness Within taking on Rubio. Am not entirely sure who voices Varren and the Custodian right now, but they're done amazingly well.

My ONLY complaint about Sword of Truth is that it should have been released as the second Garro audio drama. It's been a while since the release of Legion of One, but we can still guess some things from it, or at least I could. The way it turned out, though, is pretty much perfect.

You get a nice little cut of Varren's story, but its not actually shown, just talked about and referenced to. Varren's story is actually not all too different from Garro's, but his World Eaters fled together with the Emperor's Children. The audio drama focuses more on the current events and questions of loyalty, rather than the horrors of Isstvan.

And I admit, the drama works well that way. Apart from Varren's obvious loyalty, you won't know who else owes loyalty to whom until the traitor plays his hand. An excellent setup.
