Xenith
The GW manager at my shop actually told me that if I want to use a special character ( like mephiston ) I need to buy the actual model. What GW is this? I use my converted reclusiarch as a counts as Lemartes in my local GW with no problems.
Brother Chris
Of course he did, it's his job to sell figures! We are lucky in having models for most of our figures and wargear (though there wasn't a Storm Raven when the Codex came out). There are plenty of special characters where you have no option but to make your own.
Mr.darkness
thanks for the replies about the counts as mini. I'm not going to tell you the store just because its quite a small one, so you'd know where i live to a pretty small area. I hope he sees this thread cause its obviously wrong that he's not letting me use a conversion. It's WYSIWYG and pure GW models. plus, in the tournament pack that warhammer world shows online, then counts as are allowed as long as they are sensible (which mine is ). That video is awesome! D'you reckon he's make another if i paid?
