Champion Cards & Games Posted February 24, 2012 Share Posted February 24, 2012 Here's my current work in progress: First, I took some Grey Knight terminator arms (Narthecium from the Apothecary & Power Sword) and after a bit of trimming, stuck 'em on an AOBR Termie Body. Second up was to make a Blood Chalice. I found some old metal Imperial Fists shoulder pads, trimmed the flash off, then glued 'em together and filed 'em down to get this: http://www.championcardsandgames.com/images/spt1.jpg I left a little of the ridges where the shoulder pads meet at the top (in the above picture) to attach to the arm. It just took a little filing to make the new "Blood Chalice" attach evenly to the hand with the Narthecium. Brother Gorath Posted February 24, 2012 Share Posted February 24, 2012 The sword looks really out of place and the wrist positioning makes it look like he's just limply holding on. With a blade that size he'd likely be holding it closer to his body in more of a controlled stance. He also seems to lack any marking pointing out that he's a blood angel, much less a sang. priest. I'd try to incorporate some type of helix and blood drop markings. Some gs casting off of some sanguinary guard could give you a lot of detail with minimal fiddling around. I made a grail knight force donate the chalice and placed it on belt... Rules never said he must carry it on hands so I figured aslong its with him it counts as one...
