HH Timeline Inconsistencies

Okay basically I was reading The Outcast Dead and somethings started to bug me. First, the Thousand Son Artharva was taken into custody with the rest of the Crusader Host. At first, you think it is because of Magnus trying to warn the Emperor. But then later on in the book, after the Dropsite Massacre, Magnus shows up on Terra. That's one.

Another one would be the Word Bearers that were stationed on Terra. They were mentioned in Battle for the Abyss. did they just vanish? Were they a part of the Crusader Host that was arrested? If they were then why were the Word Bearers allowed to participate in the counter-strike since the Crusader Host was arrested after the Betrayal but before the Massacre?

As far as I recall the Crusader Host was hinted as being made up from all the legions, if it's not outright stated. The Host was detained as a whole.

That would mean that even the members of the Loyalist Legions(except the Imperial Fists) were rounded up. Talk about being slapped in the face.

Here's a previous thread discussing the timeline question:

Going to have to read through this. Thanks though.

Okay I searched the topic, found out what you were pointing out. Basically I should have read further since Loyalist Legions were slapped in the face because everyone in the Crusader Host was arrested and only twelve of the entire Host survived but only seven escaped.
