spu00sed Posted March 25, 2012 Author Share Posted March 25, 2012 Sorry for the lack of posts. I got caught up playing mass effect 2 (with all the dlcs) to get ready for mass effect 3. Then I was playing mass effect 3. Then lost all desire to do anything at the crap ending (I could have done better) However I am back. I have remodelled the power fist sergeant, still not perfect but his arm is mostly greenstuff and pin now so i am not changing it. Built another stern guard and started painting. I brought a contemptor, 5 Mk IIIs, 10 Mk IVs, 5 Mk II assault and a relic contemptor just before the FW showed their new heresy stuff. As such my new models are missing their left shoulder pad, waiting on the legion pad New stuff First up the contemptor I wanted to go for the classical image of the general leading on his troops. The only plan for this squad as that the sergeant was to hold his sword in a cool reverse grip. I have needed to get a 600pt army ready for a doubles tournament this Monday at warhammer world. My problem was I didn’t know what to take! So I have been painting all of my models, just incase I need them. Saturday just gone I played in a 1000pt tournament/campaign day and took all of my models (plus a hefty few upgrades to make to points). I used the chaos codex, since that was what I will be taking tomorrow and what the third legion became. From these games I narrowed down what I wanted, but still continued to paint all of my infantry (too much detail on the contemptor. As such I present my current almost fully painted III legion.
