LPC Vow Completed BT Crusaders

Since I'm terrible about updating things here are the 2 WIP pictures and the finished pictures of my 2012 LPC Vow. I pledged 15 crusaders and 1 objective marker. Just painted to a table top standard. I know I could do more with highlighting and such but I just dont have the time to consume in such an endeavor. Anyhow here they are. Hope you all enjoy.

it's the sheathed sword from the BT sprue, with a shoulder pad and bolter leaning on it, with helmet hanging from the handle.

This would be correct. I use it as an objective marker. I saw it while trolling the internet one day and decided I would have to make one of my own. Being in the military myself I liked the concept. Here are a few close up shots. I'm positive I could make the models pop if I just added some simple highlights. Oh well maybe one day when my painting table clears of projects.

Yes, adding the highlights will take some time and I only do it for special characters myself. What you can do that does not take much time and will add greatly to your Crusaders is just to do a simple base job on them. Just some watered down glue, sand and some of that fake grass and you can really make your models stand out. Do do your whole squad should take about 30 minutes unless you want to further highlight the sand with paint then your looking at about another 10 minutes.
