UreeL
I've recently started painting a space marine force. These units are finished so far. (I'm aiming for a good tabletop quality) Some tactical marines http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070103.jpg A rhino/razorback/predator chassis http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0006.jpg Some assault marines http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070157.jpg A dread http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070100.jpg Sniper scouts http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_6452.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_6455.jpg
Sushichef
Nice clean color scheme. I especially like the scouts and the dread. You didn't model it for LOS purposes, did you? :)
Grizzly_bear
Second to whats said above, very clean crisp painting. Nice camo painting too Rob
UreeL
Thanks for the comments! The LOS thing works both ways... So it might not even be a good thing that he's higher. Wasn't done on purpose
AlexCrute
Great work. Refreshing colour scheme executed well. I'm very much enjoying your dread.

Sushichef
Still painting, Still awesome. From the looks of it that osl on the plasma gun looks really really good, whilst still being subtle and not stealing the whole show. Can we get a close-up on that as it is bit blurry in the picture? Also loving the bases. :)
Grizzly_bear
How do you get such a crisp quarter scheme?
Heru2012
Nice to see another quartered marine army! Love them! Very crisp.
UreeL
I'm trying to keep the painting as simple as possible. The armour: Mechnite red or Mordian blue (foundation paints) basecoat Black glaze/wash High light with mechnite red I could add some extra highlights, but I first want to paint all I've got like this. And then I might add some extra detail to the models. I do spend some extra time on special parts: banners, plasmaguns (OSL), lenses, ...
BassWave
Very very nice :) Reminds me of the Brazen Claws
UreeL
The scheme in inverted to the one of the brazen claws. ;) I've finished 2 more marines, but I haven't taken pictures yet. I do have some freshly painted Sisters of Battle: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070163.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070161.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0095.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0093.jpg
Moshutta
Nice quartered colour scheme! Liking your marines a lot, keep 'em coming! :)
Naz'kadun
Very nice indeed! The blue on the marines is a little lighter and brighter than the Brazen Claws would have it and it looks good. Are they Penitent Engine legs on the dread?
UreeL
Those are indeed penitent engine legs. Currently painting a Librarian <_<
UreeL
Some more reinforcements for my Sisters of Battle army: 5 crusaders (converted from grey knights) http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0103.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0107.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0106.jpg
UreeL
Converted librarian: mostly grey knight & black templar bits http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/IMG_0108.jpg Convincible enough for a Librarian? Would you guys be ok with it if I would say that he counts as having a jumppack (teleport)...
UreeL
Added some terminators to my growing Space Marine force: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070201.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070199.jpg Fun thing about these is that they are magnetised (all the arms & CML), so when I get my box of assault terminators and I will have 10 terminators that can be equiped with all available wargear. The CML is crooked in the picture, but it can be attached straight... I didn't notice it untill the picture was already taken and uploaded. :)

UreeL
And here's a captain I've finished today: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070215.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070216.jpg
Kierdale
Lovely, lovely work! Beautiful colours and nice, clean painting. The bases are particularly noteworthy too. To boot, anyone who does a quarters-colour scheme deserves respect in my book. Those crusaders are nicely done too BTW.
UreeL
Here's the first painted veteran: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a268/UreeL/P1070219.jpg What do you guys think?
tyrannosaurus
Love the quartered scheme, really great. The bses on the termies came out brilliantly too. Keep 'em coming.
UreeL
Thanks for all the kind comments. No idea really why I choose the quartered scheme, except that I like it. It gives that something extra to a marine model, not just 1 colour anymore. It also keeps the painting a bit more interesting and I don't get the feeling that it asks a lot of extra time. Vehicles might be an exception to this... Things to come in the future: additional 5 assault marines 5 assault terminators more regular marines (I'm planning 3x10 marines) 5 regular scouts more veterans
