Arkkinite
Yup I screwed up... I blue-tac a head to a termie armour and sculpted long hair on the guy but forgot to put lubricate/oil on the parts where the long flowing hair will tough the armor. Now I dunno what to do to remove the head along with the hair, cuz i can't stand having blue-tac on my final product but i don't wanna destroy my work.... Any suggestions? Or do i really have to resculpt it? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248247-got-a-way-to-remove-greenstuff-from-model/ Share on other sites
AdeptusDavidus
Luckily, Green Stuff remains fairly pliable when it's cured, so you may be able to pry it off very gently. You might have to make some careful cuts in the putty to break it into segments that you can lift off more easily, but if you work carefully you may be able to put the sculpted putty back in place with only the slightest of touch-up - which, while not as handy as being able to remove it altogether, is a lot nicer than having to start over. To my knowledge, green stuff won't actually bond to the plastic (it might to some of the metal minis, where a few have a slightly rougher cast surface), and with thin layers, you can usually lift it off carefully with minimal damage.
