HJL
By all means, imitation is the sincearest form of flattery. i found some cake pillars at michaels for $2. they are basicaly 4 3" roman pillars for wedding cakes that are perfect to put statues on top of. ill paint one up and put a pic up with a dude on top. Captain Semper
Awesome sauce! Great way to use up old models. Very true! ^^^ Say HJL, have you considered having a go with Minotaurs? Seriously. They have excellent background IMO and you seem to be a natural when it cmes to bronze/verdigris... They are probably the only reason I'd ever collect vanilla marines... Chaplain Lucifer
Really nice. It was worth the effort of eating those cakes to get the pillars. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248527-ezekiel-from-grey-knight-boxed-set/page/2/#findComment-3016748 Share on other sites

Cactus
Awesome sauce! Great way to use up old models. My thoughts precisely. Hmmm, I've got a 1st ed chaplain model on the way from eBay that I wasn't certain what I would do with. This has got me thinking... HJL
If you make him a statue and change your mind later you can just strip him and start over. These were all models i either had no use for or were too bashed up to do much else with.
