Congrats on the tourny win! Shame you had to fight another BT Crusade, but that's the way it goes. ^_^ I like your quick and to the point reporting style. If you don't mind, can you better explain the "no retreat wounds" you mentioned on the MCs? I don't get to play much, and I've yet to face our local gaming group Nid player. I'd like to know how to better prepare for when I do play him. Thanks! Keep up the excellent work.

@ Philsminions: Absolutely. When you charge a nid MC it is nice to try and involce a horde of the smaller bugs.... contact the MC with one model, then get as many as you can into the horde and direct all your attacks into them. So for example, your crusader squad charges in, you make the PF target the MC and the others target the 20 gaunts. You should be able to say kill 12 gaunts... the MC and the gaunts kill say 4 marines, then your PF does a wound on the MC. So you win by 9! Hence the remaining gaunts have to take 9 more wounds, and so does the MC... meaning that you can easily kill it with out having to direct any attacks to it... Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Thanks for the comments. I actually have a few pictures from older batreps. Maybe ill post a few more then?

I shall also be posting my army list that I used in the batrep above as per requested. I just have to find it :D.

Cheers

Wow. That's one crazy strategy! I guess that all depends on the smaller bugs being around the MC, huh? So, when you win by 9 (in your example) which group loses...the MC or the small bugs? Or are the two lumped in as one because you engaged both at the same time? Thanks!
