Artein
In Know no Fear there's also "Four new stories featuring Ferrus Manus, Konrad Curze, Fulgrim and Lion El'Jonson." Guess Aaron and deadline and Alexander.... It don't mix well. gogmagog
I hope the Fulgrim story doesn't detract from the tragedy of Fulgrim's fall. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248597-the-primarchs/page/2/#findComment-3016719 Share on other sites
Billuriye
I hope the Fulgrim story doesn't detract from the tragedy of Fulgrim's fall. It makes it even more tragic. Fulgrim basically embraces Slaanesh and gets over Ferrus' death. Or so it seems. MadDoc
Seems like a textbook bit of Daemonic deception to me... if true though, it'd be abit of a wimp-out on Fulgrims fall ( bowing out to those that dislike his tragic fall by possession ). Hopefully we're dealing with a case of the former rather than the later. Brother-Sergeant Bohemond
To me it looks very much like the Daemon is deceiving our friends here, not that Fulgrim's attitude has changed much since his imprisonment. I think the thing is that Lucius wants what he is told to be true. He wants Fulgrim back, not some Daemon, the Daemon plays on this by telling him what he wants to hear and so Lucius can go away all happy and merry. Other than that, very excited for this book and will be splurging some money on it! Just my two cents. Rune Priest Ridcully
Makes you wonder, has Fulgrim made any other escape attempts since? could he one day escape? dcye
Makes you wonder, has Fulgrim made any other escape attempts since? could he one day escape? Something along the lines of Vandred in Blood Reaver, perhaps, where he tricks the Exhalted into delving deep for information then taking over with a surprise attack, but only for a short enough to time kill them both. Interesting train of thought though, could make a good novel in the future. Perrin
You'd expect a Primarch to be able to throw off daemonic possession for at least a few minutes every so often, although we dont really know how powerful the daemon in the Laer sword is :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248597-the-primarchs/page/2/#findComment-3016993 Share on other sites
lost_angel
Could be wrong but anyone think to call shenanigans on the Fulgrim story? If Lexi's the only source then I'd treat the synopsis with a big pile of salt for the time being. Are there any other sources? The whole premise seems kinda awkward and, a big get out of jail free card for Fulgrim. Rune Priest Ridcully
Or just an embarrassing moment as his sons turn out to be really easily fooled and tricked, as it just seems they fall for the daemon's lies again. gogmagog
So in essence, whats left of Fulgrim was transfered to the picture? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248597-the-primarchs/page/2/#findComment-3017327 Share on other sites
Sons of Horus
I think it's still the daemon in Fulgrim's body. It just sounds like typical deception. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248597-the-primarchs/page/2/#findComment-3017332 Share on other sites

The 13th Goat
The main reason i made this was because i wanted to see people's thoughts on this extract info i read but i cant find a link anymore.. Fulgrim(Daemon Possessed) defeats a Titan using warp powers... To be honest i am kinda giddy because im hoping that some of the books will start showing the Daemons true power Not sure if i remember that? I can tell you that Magnus takes out two Chaos possessed Wraith Titans (The Eldar Titans) in A Thousand Sons, with a little help. And that's him doing this before acension. Never heard of what your talking about though. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/248597-the-primarchs/page/2/#findComment-3018511 Share on other sites
Cactus
I got the book at Warhammer World a few weeks ago and can confirm that the titan encounter Fallen Angel describes does happen, and it is impressive. If Fulgrim really is still possessed by the demon, he had me fooled. FallenArtist
@The 13th Goat: Oh right on i am enjoying hearing about magnus doing doing crazy coool stuff again.Well it doesnt surprise me that not many people have heard of Fulgrim beating a titan i found it randomly one day and i just wanted to see if anyone here could comfirm if what i read was true and a couple have which is nice ;) @Cactus: Thanks for comfirming that little article i read haha sometimes it hard for me to tell what is fan written fiction or legit BL fiction and i agree with you about Fulgrim IF he is still possessed he fooled me to. Kind adds a little mystery and maybe more interesting story about him in other books even though(As much as I love Fulgrim) its not fair to some of the primarchs who have not got as much book time.
