By the same token, i don't think the Lion walked around covered in lions. Whilst this is a cool enough model, there is far too much lion going on for my liking. It's a bit daft. I know a lot of folks like the idea of lion themed heraldry for the Lion, but i'd rather it was on a wee shield and the rest of his armour was more in keeping with the Dark Angels. ...until we get a new codex and there are lions eeeeverywhere... emperor i hope not...
