No Speed Painting here! Finished Pics added.

Still along ways to go. This is my first attempt in over 20years! After losing an eye playing hockey, I lost interest in the small detail painting that's required for these miniatures. Trying to get back in the game though,

I tacked on the shoulder armor, painted some detail. I made a mountain display base for him, but I need to add some putty where his left foot goes. Still have to add SNOW coverage too.

Amazing work man. The head is fantastic. Is it one of your own making or a bit?

Thank you. The head and Terminator torso are from FORGE WORLD. It comes in a SPACE WOLVES TERMINATOR upgrade sprue. The srue has 2 Torsos with heads and 3 torsos for adding a head. It also comes with 10 Space Wolf shoulder pads. Runs about $30.00.

Wow! thats incredible!

For someone who doesn't bother with fine detail due to losing an eye... well, you could have fooled me.

My eye was swollen shut for 2 weeks after being hit with a rogue hockey stick (thankfully all the damage I received) but my depth perception was appauling during this time.

With your mini, you couldn't tell! Its.. just.. wow!

Great positioning, nice clean paint, and the spot colour just "pops!"

Thank you very much. I still have the wolf cape to finish and attach. I think when I add the snow to the display base and the gaming base will stand out better.

Ive been painting for 20yrs and haven't endured any eye injuries...i take my hat off to you in the most respectful manner possible. I would love to be able to paint to that standard. Massive kudos to you sir...

So good you had to say it 4 times?

I must say, I agree! well, except for the 20 years part.. maybe the better part of 10.

That is some nice snow. I've not heard of microballoons, mind sharing the technique?

Here you go:

Mix equal parts: DAP Fast and Final Lightweight spackling compound, Woodland Scenics Flex Paste, and finally Alumilite Microballoons.

Mix together , oy'll know if it's right because when mixed it looks like cool whip! Spread it THICK or Thin, where you want it.

CAREFULLY sprinkle microballoons over the entire area. Later, tap off and save excess microballoons.

If it is not to your satisfaction, use super tacky PVA and spread it over the area to be improved. Again, sprinkle microballoons over the area.

Looks great when finished.
