Can Ghazghkull perform Ambush with the unit of commandos with Snikrot?

Ghaz is an IC and the Snikk boys have move through cover so- 3d6 all round. Need triple ones!

Move through cover only applies if you are moving though terrain.

Lol at that Ghazkull has move trough cover per IC rules but also Slow and purposefull as per mega armour. Which 1 to use officially? GW?...

They don't conflict at all; they'd get 3D6.

 

S&P:

"However, they always count as moving through difficult terrain (including in assaults)."

 

MtC:

"Units with this rule roll an extra D6 when rolling to move through difficult terrain."

 

 

So Ghaz and crew have to move at the slowest speed, which is S&P, ie difficult terrain (counts as). MtC kicks in because, for all intents and purposes, they are moving through difficult terrain.
