Forge World, Rhino Doors

Recommended Posts

It really depends on how tight the 'fit' is. If its pretty close, you could use the flat of a blade in the places that are catching, might take 2 mins. If it's due to bending and warping, a good soak in some really hot tap water will allow you to bend them back. If they're massively oversized, maybe they sent you LR doors?

That front hatch looks like the mould wasn't secured properly to prevent undue expansion during casting (polyurethane resins expand as they cure, as well as get hot).

The indent at the bottom is due to some squeeze applied removing it before it hardened sufficiently (a few of the poly resins state demoulding times of 10-15 minutes, but they are still rubbery at that point, and flexible and any bending will stay that way as it cures.).

You've gotta sand that sucker back to make it fit. No way around it.
