Vindicatus Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 I know that it's been a while since my last posting (hell, I think it's been since LPC 2011 since I last showed my face around here in any sort of useful fashion), but between the military, a job, and now the onset of school, my time had been eaten away slowly to the point where I was driven away from the hobby...which is sad, because I love to paint. Out of the military, and now fully focused on school, I have an inordinate amount of free time, so I took the time to knock out Draigo for my GK army. Sadly, I'm in the process of a move, and the pictures were taken from my phone in a poorly lit room (not all my stuff has made it in from storage yet...but I'm working on it, promise! It'll be better next time!), but I think it definitely captures the essence of just how awesome the model is, dynamically posed....and lacking the derpy, goatee-sporting, helmetless head. http://i.imgur.com/ZqSCb.jpg http://i.imgur.com/y9HVr.jpg http://i.imgur.com/saaYL.jpg The base is a custom one that I found in my FLGS, and I doctored it a bit to go along with my lava themed bases for my other GK paladins, making the rock he's standing on to be a glossy black with grey edging along the curls (hard to see in that light. :| ) to make it look like glossed obsidian.
