Vazzy
IA: Rising Suns http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YtU0LBa5YhI/TXo6S8tBe4I/AAAAAAAABuQ/_V4618sRXkQ/s400/rising-sun.gif Chapter badge Origins: One of the Chapters of the 5th founding The Rising Sons home World is located in the Segmentum Tempestus, Pacificus sector, Easia sub sector, and called Nipon Satellites: One moon, that contains the system defense weaponry Planetary Governor: None, Nipon is a Feudal death world, where various lords fight for supremacy. Rising Suns recruitment: The recruiting is surprising Egalitarian, as at the end of every year, a tournament is held to judge those who are considered worthy. Any can enter these events, which include tests of agility and strength, but generally it is the children of the war lords who do the best. The Rising Suns interfere little with the planet, allowing the inhabitants free reign, for the most part. But, should a situation arise, the Rising Suns will deploy from their fortress monastery in the mountains. The Rising Suns have uneasy relations with the Mechanicum at best, and as such, each marine learns to modify his equipment as he sees fit. Needless to say, this does not please the Mechanicum. When deployed en masse, observers often note that no one marine looks like his brother. Organisation: The Rising Suns disregard the Codex Astartes as a guideline for organization, but aspirants are expected to know the portion on tactics by heart. The Rising Suns are split into Seven clans, each led by a Kodenbushi, with the first clan led by the Shogun. The first clan is comprised of the veterans or Seieibushi. Clans two through six are made up of Chukanbushi, and the seventh clan is comprised of scouts or, Aonisaibushi. Each Chukanbushi carries a curved blade that is awarded to them upon completion of training. If a Marine loses this weapon, he is considered dishonored and will often times become heroically suicidal to atone for his failure. Combat Doctrine: The Rising Suns are know for lightning quick orbital drops that devastate the enemy. Often times Aonisaibushi infiltrate a planet and wreak havoc, allowing for easier subjugation by the rest of the Chapter. Upon arriving, the Rising Suns will carve their way to the enemy leader, and more often than not kill him. For the Rising Suns, confusion is key, as they believe if you disorient your enemy, he will be unable to stop you.(more later) Probably the greatest moment in the Chapters long history is during M38, when the entire chapter was mobilized to defend Nipon when a large force of Dark Eldar attacked. The Dark Eldar arrived via the Webway, sowing terror through out the land. The Rising Suns were quick to respond, and within weeks the Dark Eldar were utterly annihilatedk. But this not what made the battle famous. What led to Fame for the chapter was when seven battle brothers held a small Township for the duration of the battle, despite taking heavy casualties. Gene seed: White Scars. The Rising Suns have the White Scars genes seed, but do not seem to posses some of the more savage traits their parent chapter possess Beliefs: The Rising Suns follow a strict code of martial honor and integrity, called Boshido. That, if violated brings dishonor upon ones squad. Battle Cry: Varies, but popular variant include "Banzai!" (not quite sure about this one) " Honor in Death!"
