Brother-Captain Sharp
I just got done painting a model for a client, and I thought you guys would appreciate him. The client converted his own version based on the idea of a fallen Sanguinary Guard being resurrected into an undead spirit of death. The theme of the model is just cool, and I wish I could have spent more than a speed paint on it. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232331-1-1-1.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232338-1-1-1.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232344-1-1-1-1.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232350-1-1-1.jpg Cheers! Jorre
From what I can see it looks really good. Wish there was some more detailed photos though as I don't think those ones do it justice! Wish there was some more detailed photos though as I don't think those ones do it justice! Sorry about the photos, I'm used to my ginormous screen that makes everything big. How are these? http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232331-1-2.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232338-1-2.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232344-1-2.jpg http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj236/sesharp/2012-03-17232350-1-2.jpg That better? Enzephalon
Do you know how he built it? Was there green stuff involved, is it some sort of kit bash or is it based on a model from another range? Brother-Captain Sharp
Do you know how he built it? Was there green stuff involved, is it some sort of kit bash or is it based on a model from another range? I tried to get a parts list from him, but no dice. He made the model by digging through a friend's bitz box. I can give you some sort of idea, though. The head is from a fantasy figure, no idea which. The body is based off of Necron bitz (left arm, body and, legs). The right arm and chest plate are from GK terminators. The flappy parts in the back are from more fantasy minis, though I know there is plastic in there. Mostly plastic actually. The gaps were then filled with GS. The halberd is from fantasy as well. Warriors of Chaos bit, I'm pretty sure, judging by the arrows. Sorry, I wish I had more experience with Warhammer, as maybe I could identify more of the bitz. I can say for sure there were no metal bitz. I could tell by the weight of the mini. Jorre
It's a pretty cool conversion and the paInt job is good to. Although I'm guessing that freakishly skinny arm is the necrons one. It does look sorta out of place on a marine Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249234-sanguinor-conversion/#findComment-3019082 Share on other sites
Zeller
The halberd is from WFB chaos chosen. The head almost looks like the WFB chaos Sigvald though upon closer inspection of the hair maybe it isn't. :/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249234-sanguinor-conversion/#findComment-3019097 Share on other sites
