gilljoy
Hey all, I'm finally getting around to painting up some of my space wolves, still working out a few things with the colour scheme but its coming on nicely in my oppinon. Heres the current WIP wolves. Still need to figure out what colour to paint shoulder pad rims, aquillas etc. http://i.imgur.com/94UDZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mm2et.jpg Any ideas on what colours / improvements would be brilliant Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249252-the-halls-of-gilljoy/ Share on other sites
Kassill
They look great brother! I usually keep my shoulder guard trims the same as the main armor color, but that isn't to say they don't look good in something like a bronze or whatever. Heres an update, decided to go for a platinumy colour so that its not as bright. Still needs toned town with some washes. http://i.imgur.com/unqKE.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249252-the-halls-of-gilljoy/#findComment-3018793 Share on other sites
Russ Brother 92
very nice, I really like the shoulder trim - any particular great company you're going for? or just your own? - also I'd suggest (if you aren't going to already) a light drybrush-highlight on the recessed parts of the armour (chest pieces and the various runes/charms). Thanks man, Its bad lighting but theres some zenethal highlighting on the go so I dont really want to do any hard line highlighting. As for a great company I'm probably going to go for Harold Deathwolf's companysince I love the finecast "wolf lord" and it is pretty much just a model of harold Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249252-the-halls-of-gilljoy/#findComment-3019805 Share on other sites
