DC and VV loadout

Saying that you will always have to go through a 4+ cover save is a bit unreliastic. By the time you get in range to use an IP, the opponent usually has already expanded his smokes when he has them to protect against long range shooting. As for skimmers, only if he moved in to block or shock you. Other points I've already adressed.

Just a quick note on flamers - scarbs are evrywhere now - flamers are their bane.

 

Strength 6 or stronger weapons are their real bane, you dont often end up using a flamer on things that have an assault range of 18-24 inches. I have better things to kill on the drop with DS rather than scarabs.

Scarabs have never been a real threat against single wound models like DC or VV

But I could always take correction
