Squadron Shooting Quarry

I have a squadron of landspeeders: x2 Typhoon, x1 Tornado.

 

Say typhoon blows up a rhino and the crew disembark as normal. Can the other 2 LS shoot at the crew?

As I understand it all the attacks for a unit must be announced before dice are rolled, so since the three LS are one unit, their attacks must all be declared at the same time...so, unforunately no, you couldn't resolve one LS's attacks and then declare the attacks of the other two.

It shoots as a single unit so they all fire at the rhino.

By extension, this means that you most likely can't say which Typhoon blew up the Rhino — all you know is that the the squadron scored a certain number of glancing and penetrating hits, and that one of those hits caused the Rhino to explode.

a squadren is like any other unit, it can only shoot at one target unless it has special rules to the contrary, and even then the targets are shot at the sme time (a time when the embarked unit is safely invulnerably inside its transport)
