Uprising
Name: WIP (looking for something that sounds parasitic) Origin: Death Guard 6th Company, strike cruiser 7 "name pending" Chaos dedication: Nurgle Base of operation: “”(name pending) A battle barge (origins: Raven Guard) with escorts(Story later) Colors: Rotting Green with Rusted Silver trim Strength: 113 Marines with 24 Armour vehicles(Trying to make this in real life) with daemon and renegade support. Symbol: Mark of Nurgle with teeth(Similar to a Tape worm head) Battle Cry: We are the host The Fall to Nurgle The strike cruiser known as "name pending" was with the rest of the fleet when Typhus treachery manifested. The plagues of Nurgle were release and the strike cruiser was infected with the "name pending"(need a cool name for a daemonic tape worm parasite). Within a few hours the remaining crew was converted to the cause of papa nurgle. The "name pending"(need a cool name for a daemonic tape worm parasite) infection. The "name pending" take the form of blind parasitic worms with sphincter-maw teeth that infest a host, through the transfer of blood, bodily fluids and ingesting the eggs/young. When a "name pending" in slayed, it`s body explodes and releases millions of worm larva, that burrow into the nearest lifeforms. Once inside the daemonic parasitic worms, feast on the host till their nothing more than skinny corpses. While inside the host, the parasite bleeds hundreds of eggs per day and are release into the blood steam/digestion system. If the host is incapable of obtaining food for the parasites appetite, the worm moves to hosts brain taking it over. The corpse then main goal is to spread it`s offspring into more suitable host. This is usually occurs during biting a new host (likely case for believable Zombies ;) ). Those that offer themselves to papa nurgle avoid complete take over by the parasite but still have the symptoms. The host is now a carrier for the parasite as well and can transfer the parasite through the transfer of blood, bodily fluids or waste byproducts(bleeding, biting, feces, mating, etc). Symptoms(General) Carrier of Worms Offspring Extreme tolerance to Pain Emaciated/ Malnourishment Constant hunger Symptoms( worms are in stomach region): Extreme Aggressions when hungry Increase hunger levels Emaciated/ Malnourishment Abdominal discomfort/pain Symptoms (When worms Migration to Brain, only occurs if host can`t provide food): Severe headaches Seizures Other neurological issues Finally complete takeover of host , and host becomes a mindless puppet (note: Those that convert to papa nurgle don`t get taken over) Tactics: The(Name pending) start an invasion by secretly transporting carriers(mostly human renegades) to Infect the planets population. This eventually causes rebellions/epidemics outbreak through the planet surface. Once the rebellions/epidemics outbreaks have deplete pdf and created complete disorder, The(Name pending) perform surgical strikes on targets and capture supplies/slaves. To avoid any lost The(Name pending) avoid prolong engagements/sieges but usually leave planet in complete state of plagues and disease. Differences from other Nurgle Warbands The(Name pending) are very similar to other Nurgle Warbands. They worship Nurgle and thank him for saving them then death and misery. They enjoy spreading his plagues and eat away at the Imperium of mankind for abandoning them. Unlike their Death Guard brothers, their bodies aren`t bloated but instead are malnourished and corpse like, from the parasite feeding. They sometimes enter states of uncontrollable feral and hungry state to feed the never ending hungry. Even through the parasite cause these issues, their view as papa nurgle own and worship as demi gods. What do you guys think? This is very rough but is the basic foundation. My may goals is to play a death guard army but be different and original. Everyone does diseases and plagues but i have seen a parasitic causing one yet.
