Hi. anyone have Forge World Imperial Armour book 11 - The Doom of Mymeara ? WOLF GUARD SKALLAGRIM OF THE BLACKBROW is shown in the book. I've seen a picture but I can't really tell what color the Armour is. Is it normal space wolf colors?

Thanks to anyone that can help. I'd get the book , but at $60.00 I'd rather buy some more models.

I havent seen the picture so I cant say...

But why the yelling? We dont need the yelling.

I was taught capitals meant urgency or importance.

and as this isnt life changing, it isnt really urgent or important really.

Caps lock usually just means annoying.

Well, at 56 I can still learn. Thank you so much for enlightening me. I too am a moderator on a Military board. As staff we try to refrain from scolding members. If it isn't a major flair up we just let it go. I can already read the writing on the wall here. Oh, and thanks for trying to help answer my question.

well, i would have helped but im in the same boat many of us Wolves are... we dont want to pay 60 bucks for 3 pages of Wolfy stuff.

Certainly can't argue that ponit. 20bucks a page is plain highway robbery. If you ever find out, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

I dont have the book, but a friend of mine who also plays Eldar does- Ill try to get him to bring it this weekend.

Also, I wasnt trying to scold you, we get alot of people on the B+C who arent always aware of internet etiquette and can use a heads up now and again.

Thank you for the assistance in advance.

Search for the model I mentioned on Ebay. One of the pictures with the model listing happens to be the full page from the book.

HA! Thanks, but that's where I saw the picture. Couldn't really tell from his pic the color of the armor. I did notice a lot of gold though.

Yes definetley not the standard GW Space Wolf blue-grey. If you go look on the FW web site there some sample pages and while Skallagrim isn't on any of them his armour is the same colour as the GH pack who are on one of the sample pages.
Standard grey, more codex grey than the blueish sw grey though. Left knee pad white and right knee in black yellow

I disagree - it's a very light cold grey. I've got the book and I've never seen a Space Wolves army painted this color before. I think it looks amazing but it's going to be a tough color to match.

In Imperial Armor 11, the "Army Guide" pages in the book show Bran Redmaw's Great Company in a fairly pale, light cold gray similar to a Fortress Gray mixed with Space Wolves Gray. I't's a pretty unique color and I'm surprised no one pointed this out. (D'oh. Stormdragon did as I typed this up! Apologies. )

On pages 111-112 there is a two page shot of Skallagrim, and he is in the same armor color. It's a unique, cold light gray.

Here's an example of how to paint something very close, but in my opinion this color isn't quite blue enough. To get an exact match you would need to mix up a light blue grey or use something like WW2 Luftwaffe Grey:

Good luck Wolftracks8! I replied via PM as well if you need more info, let me know via PM.

Guys!!!! Thank you all very much for the great assisiance. From the shabby picture that I did get a glance at , the armor did look as you described it. Having sight in only one eye caused me to question what color I was really seeing.

You men have answered that for me and for that I thank you again.
