I'm just reading it at the moment .. it seems pretty good so far. I'll come back later when i'm further through it.

awesome! could you do a simple write-up review on here for everyone? which of the two ebooks are you reading? as soon as I saw Space Wolves, I immediately wanted to know more and eventually get it for myself.

I'm reading Kraken right now, i wasn't aware that there was a rune one as well but i'll have a look later on.

Of course i can do a review :)

Thank you wolf brother!

Why does Runes have a GK on the cover? :D

Because Runes is part of the collection of short stories, from Victories of the Space Marines anthology. And that GK cover is the artwork for the entire book. Here is a small extract of RUNES, from Victories of the Space Marines (PDF) http://www.blacklibrary.com/Downloads/Prod...pacemarines.pdf

i've probably read enough to give a tiny review. Mav, i think you're going to want to read this one.

Kraken - Even though this is a small piece of literature, it delivers a perspective on the individualist culture of the sons of Fenris. A saga of a warrior, a tale of the hunt and a search for lost honour. It emphasis the barbaric outer image that the sons of Fenris go to great lengths to project and proves to all that those of Russ can accomplish feats that rival any who have come before. The style of writing leaves something to be desired but still a must read for anyone who wishes to deliver a saga of their own.

Kraken was great aside from Wraight mixing up Rune and Wolf Priests, but honestly aside from that it was a great little read.

Finished "Kraken" last week and I must admit the wolf priest/rune priest was a downer for me.(just makes it look like not enough homework was done). But I got over it and realized everything else was great. Really gets into the mind of a SPOILER....------ >

Lone wolf

By Russ' hairy arse I hate ebooks....

Hopefully these, and others which we hope are to come, will be released in as a proper book as the Gotrek and Felix shorts have been.

I know for a fact that Runes was first released in a paperback anthology, and I'm guessing Kraken was too.

Just looked at Chris Wraight's blog. It is only in eBook. It has never seen print before.
