Help me decide on a build

I'm building my TWC with "just" a CCW, and I can't decide between the following:

 

Axe:

Which one has the biggest "cool" factor to you?

there would have to be more of them to be chaos . right now they are a normal sign "this part in to enemy". conidering a lot of space marines are 13y old such a thing is probably a must.

i am going to say axe. It just looks more SW themed where those chain axes will always scream khorne to me. The arrows on the axe blade need to go, the point end and reverse end of the blade just say style and extra way to hurt people.

I would take chainaxe after removing the arrow anyway. What is strange to me that chain weapon matches simple scout knife.. both are CCW and that's it. It's wrong. Chain weapons should have some more advantages over simple CCWs. It's one of the most unfluffy rules to me.

That "simple scout knife" isn't some cheap, nickel-plated butterknife. All CCWs that look like normal swords are honed to a monomolecular edge...that means it is sharpened to where the edge is the width of a single molecule. You could jam it through a 5' thick steel door and it'll slide right back out like Excaliber. That's nothing for a scout to be ashamed of carrying.

 

That said, the guy in the picture is riding a beast with flesh-tearing, razor-sharp teeth. Why shouldn't he carry one too?

The humble blade carries more finesse. A scout would be more likely to push his knife through the soft neck joint of his enemy. Chain weapons carry a loud intimidation factor though.

Don't let the bad guys have the cool stuff. Bad guys were always in black, yet look how many good guys now rock black, and look great in it :P

All things can be redeemed. After all, look at LoLo's Axe :)

How dare you! Go for the chainaxe, of course. And if not that, then the big honking frost axe from the box, after you remove the power bits from it.

Either, they are both awesome. It is not necessary to trim the arrow entirely. If you trim the flares on the head, it looks much better. But trimming the arrow shouldn't be too hard with a sharp knife and a little filing.

After getting feedback here, and taking several long looks at the pictures I posted, I decided on the regular Axe. I glued it on last night, so there's absolutely no going back. Nothing comes off after its been glued, right? :P
