War Angel
Industrial world works for me. Would their forges still be roughly the same as forge world forges??? (Ie massive enough to have a battle inside with tanks and stuff Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249812-eagles-eternal/page/4/#findComment-3265085 Share on other sites
Olis
Industrial forges and Mechanicus forges do pretty much the same thing, imo. Tank forges build tanks, lasgun forges build lasguns etc, etc. And considering the ethos of the Imperium is 'Bigger is better' then yes, it'll be absolutely fine. The Imperium often has buildings which tanks can fight in. Messor
Well, I can't say for sure, but when I imagine Imperial worlds, where entire planets are given over to agriculture, or cities (which often have their own huge manufactorums), I can easily see such gargantuan forges that battles could be fought inside. War Angel
Alright cool, so I'll use industrial worlds, which I didn't know even existed lol. Can I get any suggestion on my "honor company's"? Which is just a name I liked better over specialist company's. tere kind of my way of including things we have in the Marines like fast company, force recon, and I'll be adding a third one to represent MARSOC Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249812-eagles-eternal/page/4/#findComment-3265914 Share on other sites
War Angel
Second company In the years that followed the first war of fidelis, the Eagles Eternal had very limited fleet capabilities, even having to rely on rouge trader family's to provide transportation on a wide scale. These were hard times for the chapter, not having received the resupply they needed, the chapter became desperate. An opportunity arouse for the Marines of second company during the battle of middle way. While the third company had the honor of taking the planet back from cultist the second waited in orbit. unexpectedly a renegade battle barge exited the warp in system, and engaged the fleet of loyalist orbiting Middle Way. Seeing a chance for glory, the second company launched a daring assault against the barge in an attempt to board and capture her. Supported by the imperial navy, several of the boarding teams managed to get inside the fortress. as the casualties continued to rise, Marines fought their way to the bridge, eventually gaining control of the mighty vessel, and subsequently capturing her as their own. Refitting and purifying the machine spirt, the vessel was renamed "Deaths Wings", and was rewarded to the second company for their courage, initiative, and bravery, in the face of impending doom, and impossible odds. recon0321
Like the idea of the second company Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249812-eagles-eternal/page/4/#findComment-3268017 Share on other sites
Messor
Aye, do like. The under-supplied nature of the Chapter really gives some interesting life to these scenes. War Angel
Thanks guys, this company is a tie in with the Marine Corps "FAST company. The previously mentioned fifth company is Force Recon, and when I get a chance to post the next one, it will be MARSOC. So I'm really glad you like it. I hope my segment on the fifth company can gave some what the same feel, it may need some editing. recon0321
Brother I vs Been out since 2006 MARSOC stood up in 2005 since then FORCE companies realigned and are under MARSOC...so I would pick either FR or MARSOC SEMPER FI Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249812-eagles-eternal/page/4/#findComment-3268498 Share on other sites
War Angel
Well, it's two different company's, that do two different things for the chapter. You'll see when it happens. HellChyld
Brother I vs Been out since 2006 MARSOC stood up in 2005 since then FORCE companies realigned and are under MARSOC...so I would pick either FR or MARSOC SEMPER FI your confusing Fast Company with Force recon. Force is in MARSOC, FAST isnt. War Angel's 2nd Company is based on FAST. as he's saying the next honor company is based on MARSOC it'll be based on FORCE along with other specialist training tactics they provide.
