Atlantic
Aside from the insane point cost, what do you think of this? Honour guard Jump packs 4 storm shields 3 power weapons Thunder hammer Chapter banner I think 395 points Effective or stupid?
Enzephalon
Keep in mind that your armour save is worse, which means that it is more likely that you die due to massed fire. Mobility is an advantage of course, and the smaller footprint. Further they do not take up an elites slot. I guess you should just give it a try. Quixus
The unit is "only" 350 points. Since you do not have a pistol for an a dditional cc attack, I'd exchange the power weapons for lightning claws for the same price.

A unit of sanguinary guard with a librarian using shield would give you a 2+ armour save along with a 5+ cover save and compares very well to tactical terminators until you get into combat of course. Not saying this would be better than what you've got but perhaps you could run with a unit along with this and see what happens.
Eorek
Too few bodies and attacks for too much points... Hell, you'd get a resonable sized assault terminator squad(with some character tagging along) for that price... sure they'll be faster, but you're most likely getting 90 splinter cannon(just an example) shots at them before they did much good. But the rule of cool deffo approves.
LordCommanderSamirus
If you want to do something like this I'd suggest using vanguard vets instead. Same points but you can do a 10man unit and assault on the turn you DS. I do agree that the rule of cool always wins though. -Samirus
