Blackrat
Well you can find a handy conversion chart straight from GW site: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/...2a§ion= That'll tell you what are the new paints that are closest to your favorite old ones. I can't vouch for it's accurasy though, as I haven't tested the new paints yet, but I hope it's close enough... Momento Mori
I'm really hoping they have the old paints in there, just renamed. I can imagine an awful lot of pissed off gamers otherwise! Do they still have the washes? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/249881-how-do-we-paint-space-wolves/#findComment-3029062 Share on other sites
SnorriSnorrison
I'm really hoping they have the old paints in there, just renamed. I can imagine an awful lot of pissed off gamers otherwise! Do they still have the washes? In my store they told me some fairytales about Blood Red with actual coverage, so I doubt it's the same paints with different names. :D Washes are called shades now, and from what I've seen, the names have changed, but the effect stays the same. Not sure if those shades I've seen are equivalent to the old washes. Freakiq
The Fang -> Russ Grey -> Fenrisian Grey gives a result that almost identical to the old colour Scheme. My test models are basically indistinguishable. Forté
Go and have a look at the Space Wolf sub forum. Basic consensus there is...how do you want to paint them? Then range from light to dark grey-grey and caring shades of blue-grey. Say hello while your there too.
