As you can see there is " battle damage " on some of the chapter badges . I was placing the figures for the group pictures and the decal started to fall to bits ( next on my shopping list - decal solution). Then I discovered I had misplaced the rest of the decals I had bought ( second on my shopping list - more decals )

This project covered a number of firsts for me . First B&C painting challenge , first space marines , first time painting yellow and first time taking photographs.

In fact I have been bitten by the bug and have signed up for the Imperial Fist painting challenge - this time its a Dreadnought and Terminator squad.

Its not really my method - I copied Brother Syth's receipe.

 

You can find it ( and his much better painted Fists ) on his various threads ( I would provide a link but I dont actually know how to do that ).

Very nice! Very impressive for your first work, especially with such a finicky color as yellow. I had trouble with shoulder decals until I started using decal solution, but that seemed to fix everything right up. Best of luck with your efforts!
