Murcielago
Hey GL, I will also apologize if it seems like i was targeting you also...I just reread things and I think I was lost in translation. :D My understanding of the topic is that you would roll weapons seperate and then do saves of each weapon before moving on to fire the next weapon. So I was thinking that if you had 2 bolters and 3 plasmas on your squad of 2 guys, then you would take the 2 bolter shots first and allocate them before even rolling the plasma shots meaning that the plasmas would have to be re-allocated to the squad, THUS forcing you to put at least 1 plasma onto your knight and the others onto the other guy... Gentlemanloser
Hey, as I said, no need to apologise! :D Nah, not roll for saves/weapons seperately. But using Wound groups to 'stack' weapon types, to mitigate thier effects. Some call this gaming the system. And it's akin to the Wound Allocation shenanigans people use with Nobz/Paladin (but that's slighty different, that's to spead all types of wounds around, to make sure your unit remains at max size for as long as posible). But this method is to make as many armour penetrating hits stack on a single Wound group, to lessen the effect overall. Clever use of game mechanics for some, cheesing the system for others.
