hrafnkel
Hile brothers, and enemies alike. I have a question on stripping my plastic resin models of their primer. I was fookin impatient and got some general primer instead of Army Painter or Citadel. Never again. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! :P That was my mistake, although I have just started out in this galaxy-saving venture. I do not reside in the US, Canada, UK or even Europe. (Asian, brothers.) Ergo, after reading some of the other threads on stripping primer and paint. I'm gonna attempt to use Dettol, more specifically DETTOL 4IN1 MULTI ACTION CLEANER as it is way way more easily found where I live. I'd like some tips please, as to how to use it. I read somewhere on B&C that using Dettol destroys plastic, although judging from most of the people on this forum, that hasn't occurred to them. Olis
Stripping paint with Dettol isn't too hard a deal, to be honest, as any potential damage to plastic occurs over the course of many weeks or months, rather than a handful of days. Now then, rather than repeat what has been said before, I'd like to point you toward this thread and say that most of the info you need can be found there. If you have any further questions - just ask. Hope this helps. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250372-stripping-paint-from-plastic-resin/#findComment-3035217 Share on other sites
