Crozius Suggestions needed!

Recommended Posts

Right. My chaplain needs a Crozius and I'm not happy with the options that I have - which as this is a self build amount to power weapon hafts and command squad eagles and the like.

The problem is that mine is an Ancient Egyptian theme running through the core parts of my army. As a result of this, said Chappy is already going to have an Anubis head; pinching torso and shoulder pad from one of Severin Loth's protection detail and the skull encrusted legs from a Death Co. trooper.

So all else is fitting together reasonably well, but what the heck do I do about his electrified beat stick?

Just dig a bit in the GW site... :)

You might find something useful in the Wargods of Aegyptus range. No idea how big they are but this and this looks interesting.

In this weapon set by reaper miniatures is a scepter and some jars that could be converted as crozius.

There's also this halberd-like weapon from Kromlech that could work.

If you look into historical miniatures you might find some interesting parts as well.

That isis statue with minimal conversion work could make a great crozius arcanum head

The Wargods stuff is good for this kind of thing, I have a few pieces of it; the snag is that the scale is slightly off, being true 28mm instead of the heroic that we are all used to.

That Reaper stuff is really interesting though.

**Scratch that, that stuff looks perfect Durus, thank you!**
