Corbulo
Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has a link to a picture with the "S" pattern you sometimes see on chain swords. The pattern isn't that common now as I haven't seen it done in a while but I know there must be pics out there but Google isn't finding them for me. ^_^ Any help is appreciated. Enzephalon
Are you talking about this here? http://wargamebits.co.uk/images/detailed/0/Blood_Angels_Death_Company_Chain_Sword_B_9912010108449.jpg Because if you don't I do not have a single clue what you are talking about. ^^
Corbulo
Nope. The "S" design is painted on the sword and sometimes comes with 2 little dots. Thanks though.

Tamwulf
Those look painted on. I've gone through my entire bits box and looked at a couple more pictures besides, and Kardion posted the only chainsword I could find with anything resembling a 'S' shape. Sanguinarian
Nope. The "S" design is painted on the sword and sometimes comes with 2 little dots. :) Thanks though. ^^^Looks like that's the key word. :D I don't recall ever seeing chainswords molded that way. Glad you were able to find it before it got brutal in here. ;)
dadieau
Looks like an ancient Iberian pattern. See Osprey: Men-at-Arms Series, Romes Enemies (4): Spanish Armies 218BC-19BC for several examples.
