My question is: Could I purchase a WG pack of three AND a LR for them, then before the game assign the three WG as pack leaders through my squads? I know there are plenty of draw backs to consider however I have a follow up question. When I buy a Rune Preist with a chooser of the slain and place the chooser in LoS of my opponents units such as on the other side of a large terrain center peice where my RP wouldn't normally see that should now give him LoS to them... Does that mean I can now shoot living lightning through the terrain... if so why not through an empty LR? Possibly weird questions but it might make for some fun if it is legal to do. It will, however, still be a dedicated transport for the now-nonexistant Wolf Guard pack so no other unit may start the game embarked in it. No, CotS does two things- 1. prevents Infiltrators from deploying within 18" 2. and gives the Rune Priest a +1BS to shooting attacks made against units within LoS of the Chooser. Neither of these alters the need of the Rune Priest to have LoS to the target he is shooting. RipherChost Posted April 13, 2012 Author Share Posted April 13, 2012 Well then at least I only used the chooser wrongly one friendly game! oops The goal for the LR was to remain empty and be a mobile fort/distraction as there would only be one in the list. The rest of the armor would be a vindicator or two and a predator or two (dependent on two or one vindicator) with dreads and razors for the troops to scoot about. Not ment to be very competitive just fun full-o-armor themed madness for my iron wolves. I supose 250 points could be used to get speeders instead probably more cost effecient and usefull to the list. Maybe two typhoons and TLLC upgrades for two of the troop razors. Anyhow main questions answered I'll add the list to my list thread to prevent this from becoming something that belongs in the lists forum.
