I can't remember if I even new during 2nd edition. In any event I can find no referance to it now. Forgive me if this was covered in another post somewhere. Ironwulf Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 I don't believe that GW has ever had fluff that described any Wolf Lord using the Spirit Wolf icon. In 2nd edition, they showed the representation, along with the Sun Wolf, Blooded Hunter, Fire Breather, etc.; but GW didn't give names to ALL of the Wolf Lords at that point in time. In the 3rd-4th ed codexes, the Spirit Wolf totem was omitted because it wasn't in use by one of the current Lords. With that in mind, if you want to use the icon, you have the luxury of making up a name for your Wolf Lord! It's all yours!
