Its going to be my new small Salamander army which will probably end up on eBay. But if I will fall in love with it I will leave if for my personal use. I'm planning on having a dreadnought, one Rhino, one Razorback, two squads of space marines, one squad of scouts and Forgefather Vulkan Hes'tan. I honestly cannot offer anything more constructive and it saddens me that what ever price you put on it, I know it'll be waaaaay out of my budget. ChromeZephyr Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 I dig the fact that they're "Black-as-in-African-descent" rather than "Black-as-in-coal" that GW slapped us with. That brilliant green is superb, the lava bases are a joy to behold, and your greenstuffing makes me seethe with envy. The only thing that's throwing me is the emblem on the Dreadnought body, it seems kinda sketchy compared to the rest of the model. I think its because Salamanders used to have -1 Initiative (Can't remember what bonus they got in return...) so they wanted to avoid any chance of someone misconstruing it as racist. The same reason why the Haradrim in Lotr weren't African themed in the films. If the bad guys are black, then it could be racist. Anyway on-topic, these guys are great!
