Inquisitor 117
Does anyone have a good mix for the (new) citadel color for airbrushing? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250902-painting-the-pack/ Share on other sites

Inquisitor 117
I was actually wondering if they needed to be thinned or if they can go into an airbrush fresh from the paint cups? Toasterfree
always thin and its going to be different everytime. you want your paint to be about the consistency of 1% milk Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250902-painting-the-pack/#findComment-3041300 Share on other sites

Toasterfree
i dont know of any good thinners, but you can use rubbing alcohol or distilled water Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250902-painting-the-pack/#findComment-3044416 Share on other sites
GalaxyChief
Do not use rubbing alcohol with GW paints, they will curdle up in your air brush. You can use distilled water as mentioned. I have also found that the thinners made for Model Master acrylic paints works fine as well. Inquisitor 117
What's a good ratio? 1:1? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/250902-painting-the-pack/#findComment-3044813 Share on other sites
GalaxyChief
Make it like milk is what I have been told and try to achieve. There is no set ratio for GW paints. I just thin it till it "look's right then test spray..... and add more paint/thinner as needed.
